Beach House yay!

I’m writing this as I sit on the floor of my train. There are only three carriages and it is completely packed. That didn’t stop a businessman (in his suit and tie) from sitting in the aisle seat to block the other people. I have just come from beach house at the bush hall. The venue is always nice. It’s on a normal looking road in shepherds bush but when you go in there are chandeliers in this small room. Last time I hadn’t got glasses and could barely see the stage. This time was much better. I spent a lot of time on my phone as I was on my own and felt awkward. The first band were interesting because it was the first time I heard what sounded like a vampire weekend influence, although I could be way off. Beach house were excellent. Whilst they could probably make an album that is just Victoria making one word last three minutes they have made an album that has more rounded songs than before. Their songs really work live and it felt really good to be out of the house. Even if it did mean missing the snowboarding in Vancouver. I just wish the train was longer.
